Part II

so, as part 2, what is next?
I've been thinking about many careers. I am thinking and realizing that the #1 most important aspect of a job is... well theres 3 actually, and they are all important. They would be:

1. The job has to be ethical. No military contractors, not gonna do advertising, etc. Do something that benefits the world, be it through education, the arts, or actual sustainable tech.
2. I must practice my creativity. Writing, designing, building, etc.
3. I would prefer to / am conflicted over whether or not I should do something technical (producing music and writing about science counts.)

For example, a scenario in which I am a freelance writer, music producer, science writer, designer, sustainable technician, researcher, science teacher etc all work out for me.

Also, going back to school is on the table. I would like to improve my technical skills at music or chemistry.

Environmental chem or recording arts are my 2 favs right now, but I've also thought about environmental studies, engineering, journalism, and env. science writing.

The more I chill the more I feel comfortable thinking about this, knowing that my thoughts are not coming from a point of stress or anxiety, just dreaming the future, making a tasty gumbo of possibilities. We will see, but I must do something that is fully awesome.

theres a lot of me inside you, maybe you're afraid to see.

i am once again at a crossroads... as the grid of time and space would have it. I have come back from Mexico, I am sitting in my parents house... resting. I am taking a month to not do anything. Its really only been 2 weeks and my family is already worried.. uh, guys? I am going to rock the world. But I can't do that by being a killer bee and just buzzing 24/7. time to reflect, time to unwind, time to let the minutia dissolve and feel the bigger picture. Plus I'm going to the GYM and doing weights and getting in shape, plus I am quitting caffeine AND tobacco, which are both positive steps for me. So, even if my granpda asks me what I did today and I say "played video games and went to the gym" its not time just yet to pick up the phone and dial your favorite shrink.
My last year and a half in Mexico pushed me in many ways, some that were directly beneficial and some that were downright stressful and need to be converted into positive experiences with some time to reflect.

I just dont want to jump in there and start doing something my heart isnt in. right now my heart is telling me to chill, man. Lets take a quick review: Zach is 25 years old. Zach has a degree in Environmental Science and Technology. Zach just finished working for a NGO in MExico, that has won many awards, and has designed prototypes and ran a lab. Zach is not particularly, depressed, nihilistic or addicted to drugs. Zach is smart is and motivated. Zach wants 3 weeks to chill. Sorry.

and what will i do?

give in to the all present desire to escape in to a fantasy? into a good feeling? completing the circuit of my mamillian brain, as my momma likes to say?
or will i do something bold, something full of fire and life and inspiration

something that redefines conceptions, something pushing the boundaries or what is acceptable
something jouyously free, so free and creative that it is actually subversive of the current paradigm, something that blows minds
something that frees hearts
something that encourages bold acts of fun and ridiculous fits of laughter

yes, i think i will do just that.

thoughts and.. wisdom?

Life to me is... bittersweet

Jung discusses the idea that the opposing poles in peoples lives are not dissolved but expanded beyond, or outgrown. the conflict that drives all development is never solved... it is merely trancended when a higher lever of conscious is reached.

To be good hearted is not easy. It was easy enough for most of the first part of my life, until i discovered that being to kind and yielding leads to problems, at least on the surface, where people not accustomed to seeing kindness as a strength will do their best to hurt rob and insult those who are pure at heart.

Its okay. I am realizing this may not be quite as true as i may have thought. Being pure at heart is different than being a pushover. The distinction lies between being overly agreeable and in following your own heart, seeing your own interest and energy clearly and not being swayed or invaded by others. It is different than denying yourself, than being a 'non ego'. It's entirely bullshit to claim that you dont have any ego left. without a healthy ego, you cannot function in this world, as ego is literally the 'sense of self' and without any separation, one cannot live.

If one believes that nature is pure and perfect, then it is obvious that boundaries and separation, at least in some scale, are important for all of life's processes. Cell walls exist, as does skin, and the separation between climates, between planets, between charge carriers, all pave the way for the conditions that create life itself. All things do not merge together in an unintelligible blob, rather it is their very separation that allows all parts and pieces and beings in nature to exist as part of an integrated and interconnected system. Beauty is found in diversity, in difference, in the dance of all the separate parts that make up the incomprehensible yet tangible wholeness of the universe and everything.

Sometimes I can't believe the extent to which I have believed in distorted spiritual concepts; concepts that go contrary to the eternal Way, the Way of the universe. I think this is due to seeking, taking in so many viewpoints and eventually the assimilation of certain errors.. like the thinking that thoughts can't help you. Which is not entirely true at all.. thoughts are useful. It is important to integrate feelings, but if you are to make 'transcending thought' your motto, as a living human, you are likely to make mistakes due to not using your head! Its there for a great reason. Man's mental faculties is what makes us human and what makes us amazing creators.
Suppressing the mind along with perceived 'negativity' or the shadow will only lead to an increasingly distorted psyche that consumes more and more life energy to supress the yearnings of the unconscious desire for the catharsis, expression and release of natural impulses common to all human beings.

So to conclude:

Separation is part of life. Problems are a part of life. "Pure being" without these things is useless, as no progress is to be made.

Enjoy the bittersweet dance of life as joy and harmony clash terribly with pain and sorrow, as it is Gods gift. Life is your playground, your temple and your battlefield, theatre and university. The universal ife force that flows through everything cannot be contained.

Without tension there is no music,
without problems there is no growth
without destruction nothing new is created
without separation there is no diversity
without pain there is no joy
without life there is no death


So there.
Be with it all. Dive to the deepest depths, and soar through the greatest heights. It is all for you. Don't get too distracted with fantasy and visions, it's all right here, in this moment.

Electrocosmic Paradigm

Idea: The EM activity from the sun's cycles has been statistically linked to increases in ideas and revolution is a shadow of higher dimensional energy.


We are seeing it now. Its not just in the middle east, its all over the world. literally.

This energy is permeating our energy fields, just as it is the earths. It is of an increased amplitude/frequency. It is the Visible rhythm of the universe

It is causing an increased mental emotional charge in people, bringing to the surface tat which can no longer be ignored, by increasing our energy that which is of a weaker integrity will be destroyed, that which is resonant with the universe increases!

We are fractally embedded in a cosmic rhthym of fractal like geometry, ie cycles in within cylces.
Example , as you expand in physical scale, you expand in time scale, quarks are fast, galaxies are slow, and everything in between.
There are cycles smaller and bigger than us but we use them both (molecular reactions, solar events).

Our hearts and brains are connected to the schumann resonance (7.8hz, also the freq of heart and alpha brain waves)
Disturbances in the outer frequencies effect the inner - therefore we are cosmically embedded in the solar/galactic energy envelope. Always.
If we are aware of this we may become more aware of humanitys position and role in an interconnected universe. how exciting is that!

A new cosmic paradigm of connectivity is emerging, vs the old one of 'nothingness of space'. Space is in fact teeming with electric currents in plasma, in which our planetary/solar environment is immersed.
Plasma acts very efficiently as a medium of conduction for electricity-

Therefore, we are all connected to the mainline of the electric heart of the galaxy, which in turn is connected to super clusters of galactic energy.

We see this evidenced in electromagnetism but as I said, this could very well be a shadow of an organizing energy not yet perceptible to scientific instruments.

This is variously known as chi prana etheric energy, or higher dimesnsioal light, as discussed by metaphysical science throughout time.

Sitting here as the thoughts flow through my mind. Non-directed, dreaming yet contemplating. I return to this place. Both hemispheres merge forces, balanced. Not trying, just existing. Just letting the flow happen. Interesting places, reflections, desires, landscapes of emotion, Ideas, memories, feelings. Gentle Fuzz of the background static of the universe. As atoms, so fundamental, are alive with the dance of the music of the eternal creator, there is truly no stillness, yet it abounds as the vessel for activity.
- Here is my place. Here I am me and not anything else. Here I drift, afloat not on unconsciousness, but a veritable ocean of awareness.. Creativity sparks and manifests, passively conjuring scenes, playing out ideas, and the warmth of nameless love drifts in to hold me.
